FOURTH-QUARTER UPDATE: Drew Allen scored on a 10-yard run with one second remaining to cap the scoring for New Castle.
THIRD-QUARTER UPDATE: Shaw's third touchdown of the game — a 91-yard dash with a fumble — gave Central a 48-12 lead before Matarazzo connected with Carter for the second time in the end zone, this one from 6 yards out.
SECOND-QUARTER UPDATE: Central Valley scored twice on offense, once on defense and once on special teams to take a 41-point lead before New Castle scored twice in the final 1:29. Matt Bradford hooked up with Chad Phillis on a 20-yard strike before Robert Foster returned a punt 63 yards and Jordan Whitehead brought back an interception 95 yards for scores within a span of 90 seconds. Shaw scored for the second time, this one from 6 yards out. New Castle's touchdowns came on Johnny Matarazzo passes of 4 yards to Marcus Carter and 10 yards to Darrian Rice.
FIRST-QUARTER UPDATE: Central Valley jumped out to a two-touchdown lead in the opening 12 minutes. Aaron Law scored on a 64-yard gallop and Justin Shaw plowed in from 2 yards out for Central.
