FOURTH-QUARTER UPDATE: Mike Nardone threw a pair of touchdown passes in the fourth period, but Wilmington blocked the PAT after the last score with 55 seconds remaining, preserving the Greyhounds' victory. Nardone's scoring passes covered 14 yards to Andrew Smith and 10 yards to Coleman.
THIRD-QUARTER UPDATE: Tekac snapped a 14-14 tie with a 6-yard run with 5:02 remaining in the period, then Tyler Donati recovered a Hickory fumble in the end zone as Wilmington opened a two-touchdown lead.
SECOND-QUARTER UPDATE: Wilmington battled back to tie the score on a pair of touchdown passes from Josh Tekac to Donnie Watson, covering 35 and 33 yards, respectively.
FIRST-QUARTER UPDATE: Running back DeShawn Coleman touched the ball three times in the first quarter and scored twice on runs of 60 and 86 yards for Hickory. His other carry was for 9 yards, giving him 155 yards.
