FOURTH-QUARTER UPDATE: Matty Conway scored on a 5-yard run with 2:40 remaining and Noah Wertz made the conversion kick as Laurel upended Union.
THIRD-QUARTER UPDATE: Jordan Best scampered 73 yards for a touchdown, putting the Scotties up 19-7, before Laurel trimmed the gap to 19-13 on Christopher Peluso's 27-yard run.
SECOND-QUARTER UPDATE: Union's Anthony Rush hooked up with Benjamin Young twice in the period for touchdowns, covering 19 and 25 yards. Sandwiched in between was Union's lone score when Joseph Hayburger recovered a Josh Dando fumble in the end zone for six points. Dando had raced 41 yards on a keeper to the 1-yard line before fumbling into the end zone, where Hayburger recovered.
FIRST-QUARTER UPDATE: In a defensive battle, the only scoring threat came when Laurel drove to the Union 20, but turned the ball over via a fumble on a fourth-and-one.
