BEAVER FALLS — The Mohawk High football team had a tough time at Beaver Falls last night.
The Warriors suffered a 37-7 loss to the Tigers in a Midwestern Athletic Conference game.
Mohawk (0-3 conference, 0-4 overall) trailed 37-0 at the half.
Beaver Falls, which beat the Warriors for the 11th straight time, is now 3-0, 4-0.
Quarterback Jaydon Johnson scored the lone touchdown for Mohawk on a 5-yard run in the fourth quarter. Joe Leslie added the point-after kick.
The Tigers racked up 295 yards rushing and 416 total yards.
Malik Shepherd scored on runs of 37 and 57 yards for Beaver Falls.
Tom Romano had six tackles for Mohawk, who host Beaver next Friday night.
