Mohawk High was held to just 3 yards total offense in a 48-0 Midwestern Athletic Conference loss to visiting Aliquippa.
The Warriors (1-3 in the conference, 1-4 overall) struggled against the WPIAL’s No. 1-ranked Class AA team, which improved to 3-0 and 5-0.
The Quips rolled up 467 yards rushing and had 550 yards total offense. Terry Swanson scored twice, on runs of 4 and 32 yards, to stake Aliquippa to a 27-0 halftime lead.
Mohawk had -7 yards net rushing and 10 yards passing. Quarterback Spencer McConahy was sacked seven times.
Shane McFarland led the Warriors with 17 yards on 10 carries.
